Carol J. Bradford 1942-2011
HOLYROOD — Carol J. Bradford, 69, died April 12 at the Salina Regional Hospital.
She was born March 27, 1942, at Great Bend, the daughter of Jules F. Warlop and Agnes Louise Stumps Warlop.
She was a rural Holyrood and Bushton resident since 1975, formerly of Winfield and Kansas City, Kan. She worked as a licensed practical nurse at the Winfield State Hospital. She was employed at Mosaic in Ellsworth. She served as a home-care giver in the area. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Holyrood.
She married Kenneth W. Bradford April 20, 1963, at Holyrood. Survivors include her husband, Kenneth, Florissant, Colo.; two sons, Jeffrey S. Bradford, Virginia Beach, Va.; and Aaron P. Bradford, Holyrood; a daughter, Julie Bradford, Holyrood; and a sister, Sharon Stahl, Kailua, Hawaii; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A funeral service is scheduled at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 16 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Holyrood, with Officiant Father James Hoover. Visitation is scheduled from 1 to 5 p.m. Friday, April 15 at Kimple Funeral Home, Ellinwood. A rosary vigil will be 7 p.m. Friday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Holyrood. Burial will be at Claflin City Cemetery.
