LARNED – Carolyn Sue Churchill, 70, passed away at her home in Larned on November 27, 2019. 

She was born May 29, 1949, in Great Bend, Kansas; the daughter of William and Vera Mater Lang.

A lifetime area resident, she was an instructor at Barton Community College, Great Bend. She enjoyed traveling, keeping up with the news, staying in touch with family and friends, spending time with family and her dog Pepper.

On August 2, 1973, she married Buckland Churchill in Lyndon, Kansas; he preceded her in death.

Survivors include: a sister, Marilyn Adams, Olathe; two nephews, Gary (Rob DeGruttola) Adams, Olathe, Chris Adams, Long Beach, California; three great-nieces, Brooke Adams, San Diego, California, Kayley Adams, San Ramon, California, Sarah Adams, Olathe; one great-nephew, Ryan Adams, Corona, California, and their mother, Erin  Adams, Corona, California.
