BRANSON WEST, Mo. — Charles Besperat, age 66, of Branson West, Mo., passed away at his home Feb. 4, 2019. He was born Nov. 4, 1952, in Great Bend, Kan., the son of Charles and Albina Besperat. Charlie was joined in marriage Nov. 23, 1974, to Debbie Mantz. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks.

Charlie was a Helium Plant Operator by trade in Otis, Kan., which is one of the largest in the world. His greatest joys in life were his grandchildren. They were the apple of his eye, always making him smile and laugh. Charlie loved them very much.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. Charlie is survived by his wife of 44 years, Debbie Besperat; six children:  son, Chris and Anna Besperat and their children, Marc, Matt, Luke, Abbie, and grandchildren, Aubree and Travis, all of Harrison, Ark.; son, Jimmy and Jonie Besperat of Reeds Spring, Mo.; daughter, Jennifer and Wesley Rice and their children, Easton and Liam of Reeds Spring, Mo.; daughter, Melissa and John Haley and their son, Johnnie of Branson West, Mo.; son, Dustin and Michelle Besperat of Springfield, Mo.; and a son, Dallas Besperat of Branson West, Mo.; and a brother, John and Charmane Besperat of Timken, Kan.
