PARK CITY — Charles “Chuck” Velton Smith, 56, died Dec. 23 in Wichita. He was born March 17, 1957 in Ellinwood.
Survivors include a son, Brandon of Chase; three brothers, Billy (Diana), of Hesston, Wade Wilson (Bertha) of Fort Morgan, Colo. and Kevin Wilson (Candi) of Hutchinson; three sisters, Donna Boese (Tom) of Winfield, Sonja Julian of Great Bend and Janet Lewis (Terry) of Jacksonville, Ark; and many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by both parents.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday at the First Church of Nazarene in Great Bend with the Rev. Tom Boese officiating. Burial will be at the Great Bend Cemetery.
