LUBBOCK, Texas — The family of Diana Gail Porter will host a gathering of family and friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 26, 2024, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. A service to celebrate her life of 80 years is scheduled at 2 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 27, 2024, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers, followed by a graveside service at Levelland Municipal Cemetery. Gail was born Dec. 15, 1943, to Dock Buna and Jessie Norlee (Yarnell) Camp in Ballinger, Texas. She married Jackie Lee Porter on May 3, 1968, in the home of her sister in Farwell, Texas. Gail was a graduate of Levelland High School and attended Texas Tech. Gail retired from Brandon and Clark in 2020. Gail was a member of the Bacon Height Baptist Church.
Gail is survived by son, Terrance Scott Porter.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jackie Lee Porter; her parents, Dock and Jessie Camp; siblings, Buddy Camp, and Dorthy Morgan.
