GRAND ISLAND, Neb. — Diane Schwartz, 70, of Grand Island, Neb., died Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2018.

Service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Grand Island. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday and Rosary at 7 p.m. at the Church. All Faiths Funeral Home, Grand Island, is entrusted with the arrangements. Memorials are suggested to the Central Nebraska Humane Society.

Diane was born July 1, 1948, at Great Bend, Kan., the daughter of Lawrence and Maurine (Pecore) Hochanadel. She was raised and received her education at Great Bend, graduating from Great Bend High School class of 1967.

On June 29, 1970, she was united in marriage to Duane Schwartz. They lived in Great Bend and Hutchinson, Kan., moving to Grand Island, Neb., in 1992

Survivors include her husband, Duane; their children, Felicia (Foster) Hitts, Ryan (Jeanette) Schwartz, Nicole (Todd) Keehn, Mandy Schwartz and Blake (Elisabeth) Schwartz; grandchildren, Emma, Amme, Matthew, Brandon, Kaytlyn, Kayla, Blake, Memphis, Hannah, Sydney, Carol Ann, Gavin, Ava and Perry; five brothers, Dave (Lyla), Max (Opal), Don (Joy), Mark (Luann) and Gery (Joyce) Hochanadel; two sisters, Judy Flax and Mary (Doug) Smith and sister-in-law, Verlee Hochanadel. She is preceded in death by a granddaughter, Faith; her parents, Lawrence and Maurine Hochanadel; brother, Tony Hochanadel and sisters, Rosalie Robl, Theresa Johnson and Rita Slous and brothers-in-law, Gene Flax, Martin Robl, Bill Slous and Arlon Johnson.
