HUTCHINSON — Donna Murphy Foran passed away on Nov. 8, She was 75 years old. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Timothy A. Foran, Hutchinson, and children David A. Foran, Kansas City, Kan., Alyce Newell (Duane) of Conway Springs and Michael Foran (Angela), Hutchinson. Donna and her husband Tim together were the owners and operators of Tim’s Import, Sales and Service since the 1960s in Hutchinson. She was born in Minot, N.D., Jan. 1, 1935. She was adopted by Virgil James and Lola Amanda (Gerwien) Murphy and the family soon after moved to the Seattle, Wash., area, where she was raised and graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1953.

She is also survived by her half brothers and sisters: Carol Craig, Bonnie Baxter, Neata Smith, Richard Krook, Janice Kochel, Norma Johnson, Donald Krook, Barbara Peless and Steven Krook; six grandchildren: Molly (Foran) Mansur, Aaron Foran, Grace Foran, William Newell, Harry Newell and Tim Newell; seven great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her adoptive parents, Virgil and Lola Murphy, her birth mother, Esther Wallace Krook, her father Maurice Talbot, a grandson, Adam Patrick Newell, a niece, Angela Foran and a brother-in-law and his wife, David O. Foran and Karen Laney Foran.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 4, at 1 p.m. at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home and Crematory, Hutchinson. A memorial has been established with Hospice of Reno County in care of the funeral home. Visit www.PenwellGabelHutchinson.com to leave the family a personal message.
