HOISINGTON — Doyle A. Martin, 60, died Dec. 22 at Suwanee Valley Care Center in Lake City, Fla. Born March 10, 1953, at Hays, he was the son of Doyle E. and Dorothea (Lucky) Martin. He lived most of his life in Hoisington and lived in Lake Butler, Fla., for about a year and a half. He worked in the oil field as a roughneck
Mr. Martin served in the United States Army.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy (Badey) Martin; two brothers, William “Sonny” Martin and wife Carolina, and Dallas Martin; one sister, Alice Jean Chance; three nieces, Susan Clark and husband Bryan and their son, Brendon, Stephanie Kelsey and husband DJ and their two daughters, Natalie and Hayley, and Adrianne Martin; two nephews, John Martin and Mitch Martin; three stepchildren, Damian Ristagno, Brandon Badey and wife Amy, and Alexandria Jenson and husband Matthew; and four step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 30, at the Hoisington Cemetery with Ron Bailey officiating. There will be no public visitation. Family will receive friends at 7 p.m. Sunday at the American Legion in Hoisington.
