WICHITA — Elle Fischer, former resident, a Kansas farm girl, was born in Stafford County on Sept. 25, 1935. Throughout her life, she embarked on a journey of self-discovery which kept her spirit young and daring. Sadly, that journey ended on Dec. 31. She was a woman of conviction who never knew a stranger and established enduring friendships throughout the world, Kansas, and especially Wichita. She will be remembered as a stylish, adventurous, genuine individual with a generous heart. She never failed to entertain us with stories of her amazing escapades.
Elle was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Christian and Edna Fischer of Hudson. She is survived by her cherished daughter, Dawn Davis of Coronado, Calif., and Dawn’s companion, Scott Brununitt.
A memorial service will be held at Peace Church in Hudson at 11 a.m. on Monday. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in the name of Elle Fischer to Peace Church, 492 N. E. 140th St., Hudson, KS 67545. Share tributes online at www.dlwichita.com.
