Eloise Dolezal 1927 - 2021

Eloise Dolezal, 94, went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 31, 2021, at the University Of Kansas Health System - Great Bend Campus. She was born on June 27, 1927 at Rural Stafford Co. to Edwin & Lydia (Dirks) Grow. She married Ralph James Dolezal on June 3, 1948 at Great Bend.   He died October 1, 2018.

A lifetime area resident, Eloise was a homemaker who had previously worked as a sales clerk in the home improvement department at Sears. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Great Bend. She enjoyed crafting, sewing and gardening. 

Survivors include, a son, William Dolezal, Sr. and wife Joleen of Beatrice, Neb.; a daughter, Dianne Willesden and husband Bob of Great Bend; a sister, Anna Marie Holt of Kansas City, Mo.; a sister in law, Laura Reiser of Great Bend; six grandchildren, William Dolezal, Jr., Brian Ewing, Brandy Gaddis and husband Mark, Tiffany Nily and husband David, Aimee Faris and husband Bill and Robert Willesden III; sixteen great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews who called her Aunt Do. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Randy Dolezal; an infant brother, Edwin “Sonny” Grow; a sister, Evelyn Wallen; and a granddaughter, Destiny Dolezal. 

Visitation will be held from Noon to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, January 6, 2022 at Bryant Funeral Home, with family to received friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, January 7, 2022, with Pastor Dwight Dozier presiding. Interment will be in the Great Bend Cemetery. Memorials have been designated to Trinity Lutheran Church or Alzheimer’s Association, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
