Emmett (Keith) Kasselman 1938 - 2017

PAWNEE ROCK — Emmett (Keith) Kasselman, 78, passed away March 25, 2017, at Hays Medical Center. Born Oct. 24, 1938, in Great Bend, he was the son of Emmett “Johnny” and Norma Argyle Kasselman. On June 23, 1962, he married Alta Janes in Larned. She survives. A lifetime area resident, he worked in retail sales and at Great Bend Manufacturing for 10 years.
Mr. Kasselman served in the National Guard.
Other survivors include, a son, Anthony Kasselman of Liberal; three daughters, Shonna Anderson of Attica, Helenne Kasselman of Hays, and Lanette Hardesty of Great Bend; two brothers, Willard Kasselman of Olsburg, and Elmer Kasselman of Larned; a sister, Edna Dutton of Yuma, Ariz.; and one great-grandson.
In honor of Keith’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no memorial service is planned. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to E. Keith Kasselman Memorial Fund in care of Beckwith Mortuary.
