Floyd E. Ward, 69, died Aug. 25 at University of Kansas Medical Center, Kansas City, Kan. He was born Feb. 14, 1945 at Pueblo, Colo., the son of Ila Ward.
Mr. Ward was a Great Bend resident and a member of Boy Scout Troop 117 and 177. He enjoyed working in the Camp Kanza kitchen.
He is survived by his aunt, Grace Fanatia of Great Bend.
The Memorial Service is 2 p.m. on Saturday at Bryant Funeral Home with The Rev. Dick Ogle officiating. Inurnment will be at Westcliffe, Colo. at a later date.
Memorials are requested to the Floyd E. Ward Expense Fund, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
