MCCRACKEN — Francis H. “Shorty” Wierman, 93, passed away Oct. 8, 2016, at Rush County Memorial Hospital Long Term Care in Lacrosse. Born Nov. 8, 1922, in Ness County, he was the son of William J. and Margaret McGaughey Wierman.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. today at St. Mary’s Heritage Church in McCracken. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in rural McCracken. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to McCracken St. Mary’s Heritage Church or Rush County Memorial Hospital Long Term Care, in care of the funeral home.
