RUSSELL — Francis J. “Frank” Ptacek, 85, of Russell, Kan. passed Saturday at the Kansas Soldiers Home in Dodge City.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday at St. Mary, Queen of Angels Catholic Church. Vigil and Rosary will be held at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary of Russell is in charge of these arrangements.
