Garvan Dale Galliart 1944 - 2017

LARNED — Garvan Dale Galliart, 72, passed away Feb. 13, 2017, at his home. Born April 14, 1944, in Great Bend, he was the son of Glenn Dale and Evelyn Sooby Galliart. He was a longtime area resident.
Mr. Galliart was a member of the Santa Fe Trail Auto Club and the American Legion, both of Larned, and also served in the National Guard.
Survivors include a son, Kirt Galliart of Phoenix, Ariz.; a daughter, Kelly Renee Kitchens of Phoenix, Ariz.; brother Max (Donna) Galliart of Hartselle, Ala.; grandchildren; nieces, nephews; and friend Kelly Berry of Larned. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 18 at Beckwith Mortuary Chapel with James Underwood presiding. Friends may sign the register from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday at the mortuary. Cremation has taken place and inurnment will be in the Larned Cemetery.
