Gladys T. Muller 1916 - 2011

ELLINWOOD — Gladys T. Muller, 94, died July 30, 2011, at Woodhaven Care Center in Ellinwood. Born Oct. 3, 1916, in rural Seward, she was the daughter of Wilbert William Dewey and Josephine Sims. A resident of south Great Bend, moving to Ellinwood in 1938, she was a homemaker and Certified Nurse Aide at Ellinwood District Hospital for over 20 years. On Aug. 6, 1938, she married Adolph Muller at Howard. He died Feb. 5, 1989.

Mrs. Muller was a member of the Immanuel United Church of Christ and the Sunshine Club, both of Ellinwood.

Survivors include a son, Gary Ray Muller of Ellinwood; a sister, Marie Rogers of Phoenix, Ariz.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; three brothers, Devon, Harold and Wayne Dewey; and two sisters, Venita Neulin and Marjorie Keller.

Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday at Kimple Funeral Chapel in Ellinwood with the Rev. Katrina Palan officiating. Burial will be at the Lakin-Comanche District Cemetery in Ellinwood. Friends may visit from 1-8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the Immanuel United Church of Christ in Ellinwood.
