GREAT BEND – Glen F. Ehrlich, 87, died June 27, 2014 at Cherry Village Nursing Home, Great Bend.
He was born Oct. 26, 1926 at Russell County, the son of Ferdinand and Pauline (Waymaster) Ehrlich.
He married Leona W. Maier June 13, 1948 at Galatia. She died March 5, 2009.
He was a retired manager for City Dairy, Russell, and Great Bend Packing. Mr. Ehrlich was a Great Bend resident since 1968 coming from Russell. He was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, Church Council, Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie No. 646, and Vintage Wheels Car Club.
Survivors include two sons, Steven Ehrlich and his wife Aleta, Great Bend; and Scott Ehrlich and his wife Caite, Manhattan; two daughters, Sheryl MacDonald and her husband Emerson, Otis; and Sheila Ehrlich, Great Bend; two brothers, Robert Ehrlich, Riverton, Wyo.; and Darrell Ehrlich, Afton, Okla.; eight sisters, Isabelle Ehrlich, Wichita; Shirley Naylor, Jacksonville, Ark.; Norma Avis, Wichita; Joyce Wilhelm, Salina; Sharon Page, Wichita; Marilyn Wise, Bel Aire; Janet Ehrlich, Kansas City, Mo.; and Brenda Ehrlich, Oregon, Mo.; eight grandchildren, Chad Ehrlich, Terri Bahr, Candis Christiansen, Melinda Gorney, Travis MacDonald, Hunter MacDonald, Bechett Kendrick, and Rowan Ehrlich and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Bates, and two brothers, Albert Ehrlich and Ralph Ehrlich.
Prayer Service is scheduled at 7 p.m. Sunday at Bryant Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Mark Lutheran Church in Great Bend with Pastor Adam Wutka officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Great Bend.
Friends may call from 1 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Bryant Funeral Home.
