Gordon D. Arnhold, 66, passed away July 18, 2022 at his home. He was born Jan. 8, 1956 at Hays, Kan. The son of Leroy Arnhold and Frances Marie Arnhold (Heisler). 

He grew up in Westminster, Colo. and later moved back to Hays before eventually settling in Great Bend, Kan. Moe, as we all know him, enjoyed cooking and entering the chili cookoffs around locally of which he won several. He also enjoyed camping, fishing and just about anything outdoors. He loved his faithful companion, his dog Mitzi. He was an avid music fan. He had made a lot of friends and liked everyone he ever met. He was also a Denver Bronco fan. \He is survived by one son, Matthew Arnhold and his wife Lucinda of Hays, Kan.; and one grandchild. He also has two sisters, Joyce and Sandy. 

There will be no funeral as cremation has taken place. A short celebration of life will be held Sunday, July 31 at 10 a.m. at Big Bend lake campsite #3. Friends are welcome to attend.
