Joseph LeRoy Haberman, 72, passed away April 28, 2022, at Medicalodges of Great Bend. He was born on Sept. 19, 1949, at Great Bend, to Joseph L. and Mary T. (Koester) Haberman.
A lifetime Great Bend resident, Joseph was a member of Prince of Peace Parish at St. Patrick Catholic Church and a client of Sunflower Diversified Services.
Survivors include, a brother, Bill Haberman of Houston, Texas; several nieces and nephews, including Shelly Arnberger and Wendy Lockwood, both of Great Bend; and caretaker, Lisa Sterba and the rest of the Sunflower staff. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Robert Haberman and Bernard Haberman; and two sisters. Virginia Peters and Delores Ryan.
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, May 5, 2022 at Bryant Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9 a.m., Friday, May 6, 2022, at St. Patrick Catholic Church with Father Aneesh Parappanattu presiding. Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park in Great Bend. Memorials have been designated to Sunflower Diversified Services or Kindred Hospice, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
