Karen L. Brown, 62, passed away on March 5, 2017, at the Hays Medical Center. Born Oct. 5, 1954, she was the daughter of Darold and Betty (Grimes) Mckinnis. On Oct. 20, 1972, she married David Brown at Lyons. This union was blessed with three sons. She was a homemaker, mother and grandmother.
Survivors include her three sons, Joe and wife, Angela Brown of Mankato, Justin and wife, Sheena Brown of Hoisington, and Jason Brown of Larned; her father, Darold Mckinnis of Arkansas City; 16 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Mckinnis; and her husband, David Brown on May 28, 2007.
Memorial graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on March 18, 2017, at the Ebenezer United Methodist Church Cemetery in Lyons. Online condolences can be left at www.melbymortuary.com.
