LORRAINE — Linda Marie Turner, 61, died Aug. 2, 2011 in Hutchinson.
She was born April 1, 1950 in Amarillo, Texas, the daughter of Presley and Juanita (Cooper) Fowler.
She was a homemaker and foster parent to more than 100 children. She was a member of Community Christian Church in Great Bend.
On Sept. 11, 1987, she married Arthur Christian Turner in Guymon, Okla. He survives.
Other survivors include a daughter Nina Young, Broken Arrow, Okla.; sons, Dordi Cunningham, Kinsley; and Cory Cunningham, Bloomfield, N.M.; adopted sons, Brenton Turner, Camp Lejeune, N.C., Skyler Turner, Bushton; and Daniel Turner, Lorraine; adopted daughters, Shea Turner, Lorraine; and Vamisa Turner, Great Bend; legal guardian, Joshua Gepner, Minot, N.D.; sisters JoAnn Lemoine. Amarillo, Texas; and Betty Wilson, Bowling Green, Ky.; brothers Ken Fowler, Denver, Colo.; and John Fowler, Cedar Ridge, Colo.; and nine grandchildren.
A graveside service is scheduled at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 3 at First Baptist Church Cemetery, Lorraine.
