Linda Mausolf 1960 - 2021

Linda Mausolf, 61, of Larned, Kansas, danced the Time Warp into eternity on the morning of November 1, 2021, in Amarillo, Texas. No funeral services will be held at this time. Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount, Amarillo, Texas, 79109, is the facility responsible for her preparations. The family will hold a memorial at a later date in Spring 2022, for family and friends.

Linda was born on August 22, 1960, to Herman and Waneta Mausolf (Suhler). She graduated from Larned High School in 1978. She later attended and graduated with a degree in Pharmacology from the University of Kansas in 1984. She worked as a pharmacist at Stormont Vail Hospital, as well as the Veteran’s Administration Hospital, both in Topeka, Kansas. She later worked at the Larned State Hospital and also the community hospital located in Liberal, Kansas.

Linda was a sudoku and crossword puzzle fanatic, loved all types of music, movies, and art. She treasured books and college sports. She loved to travel and was able to visit all 48 of the contiguous US states for collegiate football and basketball games, as well as vacations and to visit family and friends. But her greatest true love was that of her dogs: Ripley, Sophie, Phoebe and Carly, all who proceeded her in death. She leaves behind her beloved canine companion, ZeeZee.

Linda was proceeding in death by her parents, her older brother Craig Mausolf, and a nephew, Jeremy Rasmussen. She is survived by her sister Cheryl Rasmussen, and husband Curt, of Jetmore, Kansas, and her sister Amy Bohn, and husband Joe, of Amarillo,, Texas. She leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews, and also great-nieces and nephews.

Linda was a fun, caring, loving, generous person, who is loved and missed deeply by her family and friends, and anyone who knew her. Memorials can be sent to the ASPCA, www.ASPCA.org, as a donation in the name of Linda Mausolf.
