GREAT BEND — Lynda Marie Garrett, 60, died Feb. 8, 2013 at her home in Great Bend.
She was born May 5, 1952 at La Crosse, the daughter of Eugene and Alma (Zimmerman) Suppes.
She married Tim Garrett August 4, 1973 at Great Bend. Mrs. Garrett, a long-time Great Bend resident, was a cosmetologist.
She was a member of Prince of Peace Parish at St. Patrick Catholic Church, the Altar Society and StoneRidge Ladies Golf Association. She was an active bridge player.
Survivors include her husband, Tim Garrett, of the home; her parents, Eugene and Alma Suppes, Great Bend; two daughters, Tina Lamb and her husband Scott, Great Bend; Jennifer Garrett, Eugene, Ore.; four brothers, Richard Suppes, J.R. Suppes, Bernie Suppes, Dale Suppes; five sisters, Shirley Philippi, Ginger Herrman, Margie Bowsher, Tammy LaGreca, Stacy Suppes; and four grandchildren, Dalton Lamb, Dylan Lamb, D.J. Lamb, and Darren Lamb.
An Altar Society Rosary is scheduled at 4 p.m., Sunday at Bryant Funeral Home. A Vigil Service is scheduled at 7 p.m., Sunday at Bryant Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled at 10:30 a.m., Monday at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Great Bend with Officiant Father Don Bedore. Interment will be at Great Bend Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled from 1 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Bryant Funeral Home.
