ALBERT – Lynn Paul Keller, 92, passed away March 17, 2020.  He was born to Charles Henry and Emma Pauline (Schnee) Keller at home in Albert on May 2, 1927.  He attended Albert Grade School and Otis Rural High School graduating in 1945. Lynn served in the US Army from 1946 – 1947 obtaining the rank of Warrant Officer with post WWII occupation duty in Japan. After returning home from Japan, he became a member of the US Army Reserves until 1958. On June 8, 1957, he married Lela Mae Kreutzer at St. Rose Catholic Church.   

An active businessman of Albert, Lynn owned and operated the Albert Lumber Company for 40 years retiring in 1990, served as Mayor of Albert for four years and was an active member of the Albert Fire Department and EMT for many decades.  He was a member of the Farmers Bank & Trust board of directors for over 25 years, a  60+ year member of the Masonic Lodge, VFW, and American Legion Post 180, and a member of Prince of Peace Parish at St Patrick Catholic Church in Great Bend, where he served over 10 years as a Eucharistic Minister.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Ben Keller,  Frank Keller and sister-in-law, Frances Keller. He is survived by his wife Lela Mae of 62 years; three children, Lynna Farnan (Ken) of Overland Park, Leann Webs (James) of Alexander, and Charles Keller (Lisa) of Albert; five grandchildren, Ryan Webs, Austin (Kelsey) Webs, Trevor (Hallie) Keller, Brandon Keller, and Kaitlyn Farnan; two great grandchildren, Brynn Webs and one expected in early June; and a sister-in-law, Bethel Keller. 

Friends may sign the register book from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, March 20, 2020, at Bryant Funeral Home.   Private Family Services will be held. Memorials may be made to the Albert Fire Department or Prince of Peace Parish, in care of Bryant Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent and notice viewed at www.bryantfh.net
