INGALLS — Marlene Kay Bartholomew, 74, died Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at Western Plains Medical Complex, Dodge City.
She was born June 5, 1943 at Larned, Kan., the daughter of George and Lydia (Andree) Wieman. She worked as a lifetime farmer. She loved puzzles, and enjoyed bowling. In her younger years she was a member of the Cimarron bowling club. She attended college and obtained her Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and companion, Phoebe Bartholomew.
Survivors include, Phoebe’s daughter, Lenora Herron, Hoisington; grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday, June 1, 2018 at the Pierceville Federated Church, Pierceville, Kan. with Pastors John Montgomery and Andy Befort officiating. There will be no viewing, cremation has taken place. The family suggests memorials to the Pierceville Federated Church in care of Ziegler Funeral Chapel, 1901 N. 14th Ave., Dodge City, KS. 67801.
