ST. JOHN — Mary Beth (Tieperman) Bunker, 84, passed away Nov. 28, 2017, in Dallas, Texas.
She was born on May 2, 1933 in Great Bend, the daughter of Clyde Earl and Edna May (Long) Tieperman. Mary Beth was a homemaker, farmer’s wife and antique proprietor. She was a life-long resident of Stafford County, long-time church member and gardener, moving to Dallas in 2012. She graduated from St. John High School in 1951 and married Eldon Lee Bunker on Nov. 11, 1956 at St. John. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include three daughters, Linda (Sheldon) Ganstrom, Hays, Carol (Karl) Mai, Dallas, Texas, and Barbara Bunker, Hays; a son, David (Christina) Bunker, St. John; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by both parents; her husband Eldon; two infant twin sisters, JoAnn and JoVan; infant brother, Henry; and brother, Duane Tieperman.
Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, at Minnis Chapel, St. John, with Pastor Nathan Gift presiding. Inurnment service will follow at the Fairview Park Cemetery, St. John. Memorials may be given to Hospice in care of the funeral home.
