Melissa Ann Hollister-Slack, 49, passed away on Oct. 30th, 2022 at Via Christi St. Francis Hospital in Wichita, Kan. She was born Feb. 16th, 1973 to Juanita Hollister.

Her favorite pastimes included spending time with her children and grandchildren, and watching Kansas City Chiefs football. She was a caregiver all her life in both her professional and personal life.

Survivors include her mom Juanita Lemon (Richard); her children Tyler Martin (Becka); Jillian Martin (Jacob); Eric Kelly, and Jaycee Hapes; grandchildren, Jaedon, Braxton, Gannon, Emberlynn, and Bethany; a brother Christopher Lemon (Diedre); one sister Jennifer Mick (Peter); and so many other friends and family she cared deeply for.

Celebration of life service will be held Monday November 7th, 2022 at 1 p.m. at the Episcopal Church in Larned, Kan. with Pastor Tonya Andrews and Father Mark Cowell presiding. No visitation planned as cremation has taken place. Memorials can be made to Saints Mary and Martha of Bethany Episcopal Church, Or the Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice Unit at Via Christi.
