Michelle Denise Price, 40, died Oct. 7 in Hutchinson. Born Nov. 24, 1971 in Great Bend, she was the daughter of Dennis Lowell and Brenda (Creacy) Price. She married Scott Piland. A longtime resident of Great Bend, she worked for Walmart and Life Touch as a photographer. She enjoyed karaoke, helping others, the lake and scuba diving.
Ms. Price was a member of the First Street Church of God in Hoisington.
Survivors include her mother, Brenda Wetzel and her husband Randy, of Great Bend; her father, Dennis Lowell Price and his wife Patricia, of Woodward, Okla.; one son, Cody Piland of Great Bend; one daughter, Haley Piland and her fiancé Brett Stubby of Great Bend; one brother, Dennis Lawrence Price of Wichita; one granddaughter, Kaylee Stubby of Great Bend; and her grandmother, Darlene Creacy of Great Bend. She was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Wayne Creacy; and paternal grandparents, Lawrence and Ruby Irene Price.
A memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday at the First Street Church of God in Hoisington with the Rev. Dick Ogle officiating. Inurnment will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Great Bend. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place.
