Nadine Marie (Krom) Liston, 77, died Oct. 4, 2017, at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice in Wichita. She was born March 16, 1940 at Great Bend, the daughter of Phillip and Mamie (Jones Krom. She married Richard G. Thoren in December 1959 and had Jeri, Terry and Sharie. Later she married Perry Liston on Aug. 9, 1976 and had Keri. She was a lifetime resident of Kansas and moved to many different places. She was a homemaker and mother of four children.
Survivors include Perry Liston of the home, son Terry Thoren of Great Bend, daughter Sharie Martin and her husband Mark of Colwich, daughter Keri Berger and her boyfriend Shawn Couch of Ellsworth; son-in-law Jerry Horner of Great Bend; two brother, Don Krom of Goddard and Richard Krom of Great Bend; 11 grandchildren, Justin Horner of Albert, Dustin Horner of Great Bend, Tiffany Thoren of Virginia, Matthew Thoren of Great Bend, Eric Thoren of Great Bend, Marla Martin of Wichita, Blake Martin of Manhattan, Michael Martin of Colwich, Brent Rose of Great Bend, Allie Couch and Sami Couch of Ellsworth; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Jerri Len Horner; one sister, Clara Armour; and two brother, Marvin Krom and Robert Krom.
Memorial services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 12, at the First United Methodist Church, 467 W. 3rd, in Hoisington. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Memorials have been established to Nadine Liston in her memory.
