MACKSVILLE — Nancy Marie Olmsted, 81, died Feb. 2, 2012 at Kenwood Plaza in St. John.
Born Feb. 10, 1930 in McPherson, she was the daughter of Otis and June (Rich) Hall. A life-long resident of Macksville, she was the owner of “Edna’s Place” for 32 years. On Sept. 25, 1948, she married R.D. Olmsted in Ellsworth. He preceded her in death.
Mrs. Olmsted was a member of the Macksville Christian Church.
Survivors include, a daughter, Toni Marie Wamhoff, Midwest City, Okla.; four grandchildren, Patrick Wamhoff, Austin, Texas; Thomas Burns, Enterprise; Jerome Burns, Hutchinson; and Christy Boggs, Moore, Okla.; 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a nephew, Jim Thach, Holyrood.
She was preceded in death by a daughter Leslie June; two brothers, Duke and Joe Hall; and a sister, Shirley Novotny.
Funeral services are scheduled at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 6 at the Macksville Christian Church with Carey Haner presiding. Burial will be at the Farmington Cemetery in Macksville. Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday with family present from 2 to 4 p.m. at Minnis Chapel in Macksville.
Memorials may be given to the church in care of the funeral home.
