PAWNEE ROCK — Norma Pauline Kasselman, 96, passed away March 5 at Woodhaven Care Center in Ellinwood. Born July 17, 1917, in Columbus, she was the daughter of Emma (LeCleff) and James Argyle. She was a lifetime resident of Pawnee Rock. On June 5, 1937, she married Emmett “Johnny” Kasselman in Ellinwood. He preceded her in death on Oct. 17, 2001.
Mrs. Kasselman was a member of the Pawnee Rock United Methodist Church and an active member of the United Methodist Women’s Society and the Ark Valley Grange.
Survivors include three sons, Keith (Alta) of Pawnee Rock, Willard “Woody” (Luellen) of Olsburg, and Elmer (Vera) of Larned; one daughter Edna (Ed) Dutton of Yuma, Ariz.; 29 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Alma and Elaine; and brothers, Jimmy, Clyde, and Glen.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be given the donor’s choice in care of Becker Funeral Home. Personal condolences maybe left for the family at www.beckwithmortuary.com.
