LARNED — Norman Alexander Worden, 33, passed away Oct. 15, 2017, at Pawnee Valley Community Hospital in Larned. He was born Feb. 27, 1984, in San Antonio, Texas, the son of William F. and Nancy Gourdin Worden. A longtime area resident he was a military veteran. On Sept. 13, 2014, he married Jordahn S. Perez in Larned. She survives.
He was of the Christian faith, was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion, both of Larned and Wounded Warriors.
Other survivors include, his mother, Nancy Worden of Orem, Utah; three sons, William B. Worden of Hutchinson, Andrew C. Worden of Hutchinson, Broguhn Worden of Larned; a daughter, Brixton Worden of Larned; three brothers, Jacob E. Worden of Newton, Neal Worden of Larned and Willson S. Worden of Larned; a sister, Kindra Perez of Larned; mother and father-in-law, John and Shona Helms, of Larned, and father-in-law Mike Perez of Protection. He was preceded in death by, his father, William F. Worden; and his daughter, Forever Lila Worden.
Memorial service will be 2 p.m. on Friday at Beckwith Mortuary Chapel with Steven Blea presiding. Cremation has taken place and inurnment will be in the Larned Cemetery with military graveside rites. Friends may sign the register 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at the mortuary. Memorials may be given to the Norman Worden Memorial fund in care of the funeral home.
