Patty Sue Mauler 1947 - 2015

SHAWNEE — Patty Sue Mauler, 68, died on Nov. 9, 2015, at her home. Born Feb. 26, 1947, to Paul and Helen (Riley) Stagner in Lafayette Township, Mo. She graduated from high school in Faucett, Mo. and attended Missouri Western College. She was employed at Guys Foods in Liberty, Mo. for several years and retired in 2012 from Coca Cola. She enjoyed camping, dancing, traveling, estate sales and had a love for animals.
Patty was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband of 20 years Ken Mauler; son Justin Johnson; four stepdaughters Sandy Mauler (Craig Apgar), Sonya Linn (John), Sheila Metoyer (Lou), Amy Liles (Stacy); three brothers Don Stagner, Larry Stagner (Michelle), Dale Stagner (June), a sister Lois Madinger (Dave); and three grandchildren Derek Linn, Quintin Metoyer and Erika Linn.
Memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 12800 W. 75th St. in Shawnee. Visitation will be held from  9 to 10 a.m., prior to service. Burial will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Patty’s memory to Crossroads Hospice, St. Luke’s Hospice House or to Ken Mauler for Ken to distribute to other charties that were close to Patty’s heart.
