Racine J. Birdow 1957-2011

WALTON, Neb. — Racine Birdow went home to be with her Lord on June 29, 2011 at her home.
She was born March 9, 1957 in Hoisington, the daughter of Otis and Rachel (Perez) Wood. She was a graduate of Hoisington High School and Barton County Community College. On March 31, 1984, she married Larkin Birdow Jr. in Palestine, Texas. She was a CNA for Waverly Care Center and a foster parent for Christian Heritage.
Survivors include her husband, Larkin Birdow Jr., of the home; a son Bronson, Omaha, Neb.; and two daughters Brandi and Lark, Lincoln, Neb.; two sisters Judy Dolphin and husband Bob, Olathe; and Odessa Brown and husband Cecil, Great Bend; and four grandchildren — Bronson II “Deuce,” Blake, Layla and Alayziah.
A memorial service is scheduled at 10:30 a.m. Saturday July 9 at Mount Olive Lutheran Church, 7979 Holdrege Street, Lincoln, Neb., 68505.
There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Flowers can be sent to 14830 Old Cheney Rorad, Walton, Neb., 68461.
