ST. JOHN — Robert “Bob” Earl Standish, age 70, passed away at his rural Stafford County home on Oct. 13, 2020. He was born on April 17, 1950 at Great Bend, Kan. the son of Leo and Ina (Crotinger) Standish. Bob was a farmer and life-long resident of Stafford County. He loved farming and enjoyed working on a farm that has been in his family for over a hundred and three years. He was a successful cattleman and farmer, who loved growing crops and raising cattle and horses. 

He attended Kansas State University, served on the Radium CO-OP board, Macksville School Board and is survived by his son Allen Standish, rural Stafford County; two grandchildren Drew and Kenley Standish; a sister Judy Gibson, Tulsa, Okla.; two nieces, Lisa Standlee and Laurie VanDyke; one nephew Casey Gibson; and two great-nieces; and five great-nephews. 

Visitation will be on Friday Oct. 16, 2020 from 1-7p.m. at Minnis Chapel, St. John, Kan. with family present from 5-7 p.m. Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, 2020, at the Larned Cemetery, Larned, Kan. with Pastor Wade Russell presiding.
