HUTCHINSON — Robert H. Bagby, 87, died Dec. 25 at his home in Hutchinson. He was born Sept. 4, 1926, at Great Bend, the son of Nelson and Margaret Williams Bagby. He was a graduate of Great Bend High School. He was a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service.
Mr. Bagby was a member of the Shriners, Elks and American Legion. He had served in the United States Army.
He married Gladys Scheuerman on Sept. 27, 1965, at Great Bend. She survives.
Other survivors include two nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and two sisters.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 30, at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home and Crematory with Pastor Chad Trunkhill presiding. Burial will follow at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 1-9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, in care of the funeral home.
