CLAFLIN — Roberta Joan Haley, 87, died July 12, 2020, at Woodhaven Care Center, Ellinwood. She was born Jan. 19, 1933, in Gypsum, Kan., the daughter of Robert J. and Mayola Fae (Beatty) Haley.
A longtime Claflin resident, Roberta cleaned houses and was a babysitter to many of the children in the community. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, the Altar Society, and Daughters of Isabella Circle #744.
Survivors include a brother, Dennis Haley of Merrionette Park, Ill.; sisters, Mary Barta of Holyrood, and Patricia Haley of Ellinwood; four neices; and several great neices and nephews.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Thursday and Friday at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, July 18th, 2020, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Claflin, celebrated by Father Terrance Klein. Interment will follow later at 2 p.m., in St. Patrick Cemtery, Gypsum.
