LARNED — Ronald J. Reichuber, 70, passed away Oct. 23, 2017, at his residence in Larned. He was born Sept. 11, 1947, in Great Bend, the son of Leo F. and Caroline E. Hines Reichuber. On Aug. 23, 2002, he married Judy L. Flanigan in Larned. She survives. A longtime area resident he was a farmer for 15 years and worked at the Juvenile Corrections Office for 15 years. He loved woodworking, music and technology.
He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, VFW and American Legion.
Survivors include, two sons, Mark (Janell) Reichuber, Olatha, and David (Tegan) Reichuber, Morrison, Colo.; one daughter, Kristin (Chris) Wilson, Leawood; and five grandchildren, Grace Wilson, Max Wilson, Adelyn Reichuber, Alex Reichuber and Theodore Reichuber. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Marilyn Mauler and Carol Reichuber.
Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Bernard Felix presiding. Burial with Military Graveside Rites to follow the funeral service at Larned Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. with a vigil service held at 7 p.m. on Friday at Beckwith Mortuary in Larned. Memorials may go to Pawnee Valley Community Hospital Special Nursing or Heartland Cancer Center both in care of the funeral home. Condolences may be left for the family at www.beckwithmortuary.com.
