Russell C. Combs 1957 - 2015

GREAT BEND — Russell C. Combs, 57, died Sept. 22, 2015, at Great Bend Regional Hospital. Born Dec. 4, 1957, in Hutchinson, he was the son of Clarence “Chief” and Florence “Jean” (Berry) Combs. A resident of Great Bend, he owned and operated C&S Concessions, C&S Fireworks, C&S Tires, C&S Repo, Triple A Lockout and C&S Hotshot.
Mr. Combs was a member of Prince of Peace Parish at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Great Bend.
Survivors include two brothers, Mark Combs and his wife Helen of Great Bend and Robert “Mike” Combs and his wife Rosalyn of Augusta, Ga.; one niece, Erica; three nephews, Craig, Jeremy, and Bobby; and many, many friends.
Vigil service will be held at 7 p.m. today at Bryant Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Great Bend, with Father Don Bedore celebrating. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Great Bend. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today at Bryant Funeral Home. Memorials are requested to Monument Expense Fund, in care of the funeral home.
