HOISINGTON — Ryan J. Booth, age 28, died Thursday, July 19, 2012 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas.
He was born Oct. 26, 1983 at Hoisington, the son of Randy and Rebecca Sue (Martin) Booth.
Ryan graduated from Hoisington High School in 2003. He was a lifelong Barton County resident and enjoyed working at Dairy Queen, RCL Railroad, United Ag Services and just recently started at Moeder Oil. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, taxidermy and spending time with his family.
Ryan married Emma-Marie Schuman on Dec. 27, 2007 at Great Bend.
He is survived by his father, Randy Booth, Salina; his mother, Rebecca Sue Booth, Great Bend; his wife Emma-Marie Booth, two daughters, Joanne Renee Booth, Alissa Sierra Booth; a stepdaughter, Aara Cassidy Schuman, all of Great Bend; two sisters, Amanda Degenhardt, Great Bend; Tiffany Heape, Great Bend; a half-brother, Alex Contrerez, Great Bend; a half-sister, Hannah Contrerez, Great Bend; maternal grandparents, Harry and Esther Martin, Hoisington; aunts, Martha Lee Knight, Sterling; Jeanie Donavan, Hoisington; Debbie Lebbin, Ellinwood, Cindy Martin, Great Bend; uncles, Mike Martin, Pratt; Doug Martin, Larned; Kevin Martin, Hoisington; Gary Martin, Hoisington, and cousins, Jared Guesnier, Jason Martin and Clinton Martin; paternal grandparents, Earl and Marjorie Booth, Hoisington; aunts, Brenda Summerville, Granbury, Texas; Chris Wornkey, Ellinwood; Berta Kerns Wagner, Denver, Colo.; Darliene Nulton, Hoisington; Terry Vitalo, Hammonton, N.J.; and uncles, Richard Booth, Bentonville, Ark.; and Bruce Ridel, Ellinwood.
A memorial service is scheduled at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at The Cornerstone Fellowship in Great Bend with Pastor Curtis Reinhardt officiating. There will be no public visitation as cremation has taken place.
