KISSEE, Mo. — Shirley Jean Sell, 53, died July 15 at St. John’s Regional Health Center, Springfield, Missouri. She was born June 7, 1958 at Great Bend the daughter of James and Arletta (Mohr) Detherage.

She worked for Skaggs Regional Medical Center, Branson, Mo. as a R.N. and was a Kissee Mills, Missouri resident since 1999 coming from Great Bend.

Survivors include her parents, James and Arletta Detherage, Rockaway Beach, Mo.; two sons, Dan DiLoreto of Great Bend and Teddy DiLoreto of Hutchinson; one daughter, Jennifer Gentry of Hutchinson; two brothers, Jim Detherage of Russellville, Ark. and Brad Detherage of Great Bend; one sister, Karen Petty of Macksville; and companion, Michael Brown of Kissee Mills; and daughter, Chrystal Brown of Kissee Mills; and ten grandchildren, Olivia Gentry, Austin Gentry, Kayla Gentry, Braydon Gentry, Chase Gentry, McKenzie King, Lexus King, Daniel DiLoreto, Axton DiLoreto and Tanner DiLoreto.

The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Bryant Funeral Home. The officiant will be Chuck Carpenter. Interment will be at Great Bend Cemetery North, Great Bend. Visitation is from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Tuesday, July 19 at Bryant Funeral Home. Memorials can be made to the Shirley Jean Sell Funeral Expense Fund, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
