LARNED — Susan L. Stout, 62, passed away Nov. 24, 2019 at Diversicare of Larned.

Born Nov. 10, 1957 in Valentine, Neb., the daughter of James Lyle Stout Sr. and Rosella Marie Paxton Sydow.

A longtime area resident, she was a member of the Saints Mary and Martha Episcopal Church and the Welcome Inn Senior Center, Larned. She worked as a dietary cook for Larned Healthcare Center.

Survivors include mother, Rosella Sydow, Larned; five daughters, Jacqueline (Karl) Ayers, Valentine, Neb., Lisa Bigelow, Omaha, Neb., Tiffani (Christopher) Johnson, Stillwater, Okla., Meagan (Henry) Garcia, Wichita, Suzi (Trenton) Worthey, Larned; son, Tyler Whitten, Larned; brother, James “Corky” (Sonja) Stout, Larned; sister, Donna Decostes, Chadron, Neb.; 15 grandchildren, Preston, Jazmyn, Mae’lisa, Brittnie, Trevar, Victoria, Damien, Aurora, Lyla, Blyss, Zaydenn, Kylee, Sebastian, Lyle, John; one great grandson, Killian. She was preceded in death by father, James Lyle Stout Sr.; common law husband, James Whitten; and a sister, Anita Lynn Spencer.

Memorial service 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 29, 2019 at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned, with Father Mark Cowell presiding. Inurnment in Larned Cemetery, Larned.
