HOISINGTON — Virginia M. Cropp, 67, died Aug. 24 at Clara Barton Hospital in Hoisington. Born April. 16, 1946 in Alva, Okla., she was the daughter of William and Ora (Williams) Baker. On July 23, 1967 she married Gary Cropp in Pratt. He survives. She was a resident of Hoisington since 1967, coming from Alva, Okla.
Mrs. Cropp was a member of the Concordia Lutheran Church in Hoisington. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, reading but above all, she loved her Lord.
Survivors include her husband, Gary Cropp, of the home; two sons, Robin Kletke of Seattle, Wash. and Lucas Cropp of Hoisington; two sisters, Sharron Voth of Munster, Texas and Dorothy Burt of Oklahoma City, Okla.; and one brother, Terry Baker of Carmen, Okla. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Patricia Ann Cropp; and by one brother, William Baker Jr.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the Concordia Lutheran Church in Hoisington with the Rev. Mark Lovett officiating. Burial will be at the Hoisington Cemetery. Friends may visit from 1 to 8 p.m. today with family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m., at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to Kans for Kids in care of the funeral home.
