GREAT BEND — Vivian Marie Collicott, 80, passed away April 21, 2022, at her home in Wichita. She was born on January 6, 1942, at Hays, to V. Francis & Viola (Windholz) Weigel. She married Larry Collicott on August 27, 1960 at Great Bend. 

Vivian grew up in Gorham and was currently a Wichita resident, having previously lived in Great Bend. She worked in department store retail and later worked as a bookkeeper for Larry’s Body Shop. She was a member of Prince of Peace Parish at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Vivian enjoyed traveling and decorating but especially loved spending time with her family.  

Survivors include, her husband of the home, Larry Collicott; a son, Greg Collicott of Hanceville, Ala.; a daughter, Brenda Collicott of Wichita; a brother, Cecil Weigel and wife Ruth of Gorham; a sister, Cindy Cockrell and husband Charlie of Gorham; four grandchildren, Cooper Hammersmith, Max Collicott, Mary Collicott and William Collicott. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Brad Collicott; and a sister, Carrie Weigel.  

Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at Bryant Funeral Home, with a Vigil service with rosary at 7:00 p.m. The family will greet friends at 9:30 a.m. and will lead a rosary at 10 a.m., Thursday, April 28, 2022, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m., all at St. Patrick Catholic Church, with Father Prakash Kola presiding. Interment will be in Great Bend Cemetery. Memorials have been designated to Central Care Cancer Center, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
