SALINA — William Henry Troutman, 89, Salina, died April 9 in Inman. Born Nov. 1, 1922 in Altoona, he was the son of Henry and Mabel (Smith) Troutman. He was a vice-president of sales for the Mountain Iron and Supply Company, retiring in 1997.
Mr. Troutman served with the U.S. Army in the Pacific War Zone during World War II. He was a member of the United Methodist Church and the Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include his wife Helen; two daughters Connie Jeane Parsons of Waynesville, N.C. and Natalyn Jo Eastep of Salina; a son William Brad Troutman of Oklahoma City, Okla.; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. today at the University United Methodist Church in Salina. Private inurnment will be at the Altoona Cemetery. The family suggests memorials to the University United Methodist Church in Salina.
