The Democrats say that a border wall would not help the immigration problem.

Well, if that’s the case why do we have a wall around the White House, why do we have walls around the prisons? Why do people live in gated communities? I think walls provide more security than they will admit. Maybe they have another thing in mind by not wanting the wall; maybe they think that if they let all the immigrants in, they will remember it at election time. It seems to me that they are all willing to give away our country just to get what they want.

Nancy Pelosi seems to think she is president; I was under the impression that Trump was elected president. One of the reasons was he promised border walls. The president says that he will declare a national emergency to build the wall. I think he has the right idea; we are under attack by illegals, willing to do anything to get into or country. It seems to me that is called an invasion and if I recollect correctly, that’s what the National Guard was founded for, to protect our borders. So I say to the president, build the fort around us and use the National Guard to man the wall if necessary.

The Democratic Party blames the president for the government shutdown. Well it seems to me that the Democrats share the responsibility. Also, if they were willing to give a little on their side the problem would be solved. But, that is just my thoughts.
