Dear Editor,
“A lot to say!” Now that 2014 is on hand, I have some things I want to touch on. What about our Congress and state government? Are we all proud of them? Here’s a few things:
1-Childcare cuts for single mothers who work and trying to make ends meet
2-No Homestead refunds for low income renters or food sales tax for anyone
3-No Farm Bill which means higher food prices
4-Mandatory medical insurance even for people who can’t afford it
5-Government ease dropping on people’s phone conversations
6-Low minimum wages and high cost of living
I have touched on a few items. I think the public should really be concerned.
I hope this gets printed in the Great Bend Tribune, but since it is about our Federal and State government, I doubt it will be.
