Doing good isn't all there is

Dear Editor,
Just because someone is working for good doesn’t mean his intentions are right.
Glenn Beck has revealed his religious hand and has been found to be holding a full-house built upon an antichrist spirit.
Glenn believes that he is doing a good work joining together leaders from many different religions in a “Black Robe Brigade” to bring about peace and a religious America.
What he is doing, in an attempt to unite people under the disguise of a better America, is actually building a major antichrist movement.
Some would say that this is a pretty strong accusation. I’m willing to stand firm on it and explain what I mean.
Good works do not make people right with God. Only the blood of the sacrificial Lamb, Jesus Christ, atones for people’s sin.
There is only one way to come back into right relationship with God and that is through the fulfillment of the sacrificial system and Jesus fulfilled this at the cross. He went on to prove Himself as the worthy sacrifice by His resurrection.
Now Jesus is the only way back into God’s kingdom.
Glenn is working to build the kingdom of this world.
Jesus told us that His kingdom was not of this world.
Glenn is working to bring all the religions together in peace and harmony.
Jesus said I didn’t come to bring peace but a sword.
Beware! The antichrist spirit is alive and well.
1 John 2:18-22 says, “18 Dear children, the last hour is here. You have heard that the Antichrist is coming, and already many such antichrists have appeared. From this we know that the last hour has come. 19 These people left our churches, but they never really belonged with us; otherwise they would have stayed with us. When they left, it proved that they did not belong with us.
20 But you are not like that, for the Holy One has given you his Spirit, and all of you know the truth. 21 So I am writing to you not because you don’t know the truth but because you know the difference between truth and lies. 22 And who is a liar? Anyone who says that Jesus is not the Christ. Anyone who denies the Father and the Son is an antichrist.”
Glenn is not denying God. He just doesn’t understand that we cannot build God’s kingdom here on earth.
Jesus went away to prepare a place for those who would come into His Kingdom. To think we can build God’s kingdom without Christ is an antichrist position.
2 John 4:7-9 says, “7 I say this because many deceivers have gone out into the world. They deny that Jesus Christ came in a real body. Such a person is a deceiver and an antichrist. 8 Watch out that you do not lose what we have worked so hard to achieve. Be diligent so that you receive your full reward. 9 Anyone who wanders away from this teaching has no relationship with God. But anyone who remains in the teaching of Christ has a relationship with both the Father and the Son.”
What Glenn needs to be doing is preaching the Gospel to build God’s kingdom. What he is doing is laying waste to the Gospel to join those who do not believe in Christ together for a religious cause.
This is a subtle but very powerful working of the antichrist spirit.
1 John 4:3 says, “3 But if someone claims to be a prophet and does not acknowledge the truth about Jesus, that person is not from God. Such a person has the spirit of the Antichrist, which you heard is coming into the world and indeed is already here.”
Glenn Beck has been captured by an antichrist spirit. He has used his position and desire for a good America to deceive many.
I firmly believe that Glenn’s work is good but wrong. He is not bringing the world together in Christ but actually working against Christ.
This is the antichrist spirit.
If you don’t believe me, keep listening to him and many others that are working for a better world without Christ. It won’t work because only Jesus saves!
