Citizens of Great Bend:
I attended the meet and greet for the candidates for City Administrator last week.
To my great surprise and embarrassment there were almost no people there.
My question is WHERE HAVE ALL THE PEOPLE GONE? Where were the two or three hundred people that were in attendance at the City Council meetings last summer? The three gentlemen that were here interviewing for the job must have wondered, “Does it matter whether I am qualified for the job? Or would be a good face for Great Bend?” I hope all of you remember how important that job was last year.
There is a very important election coming up in August for City Council I hope that you show more interest than was shown last week.
