Dear Editor,
This is in regards to the letter asking for re-election for your current Barton County Treasuer Kevin Wondra, stating that my mother and previous Barton County Treasurer Jan Karlin had generously trained him.
Living in Kansas City I can’t vote, but I can comment regarding the comments about Jan Karlin.
I guess I am not sure how or when the generous training came from Jan Karlin, due to circumstances when she resigned she never went back, how could she have trained anyone new? I will say that she left behind a well trained staff, in which she put years for training into one of them being Gayle Cell.
If office training is what the voters are looking for it is Gayle Cell for the job.
